The major factors to consider when choosing window coverings for the bathrooms are that they will be able to provide adequate privacy and withstand water splashes and humidity. Most quality window treatments, including wood blinds, will be able to withstand humidity, however, not direct water pressure. If your window is near a bathtub or shower or any other area where water splashes may occur, then vinyl blinds are probably your best choice. In order to achieve maximum privacy, you need to determine whether the gaps are small enough so that nobody can peer into the bathroom. Bathrooms are normally the smallest rooms in the home, as well as the most light-deprived rooms.
